Division 2. STORMWATER MANAGEMENT |
§ 2-10-73. Adjustment of stormwater management assessments and stormwater utility fees; inspections.
(a)
Generally. Consistent with policies set by the board from time to time, the director is hereby authorized to implement adjustment and grievance procedures relating to the imposition of the stormwater management assessments and/or stormwater utility fees, and/or other charges or revenue sources which will be available to the county and the users of the system.
(b)
Inspections. The county may require an annual inspection of on-site retention/detention facilities on parcels to which an adjustment to the stormwater management assessment and/or stormwater utility fee and/or other charges or revenue sources has been granted. The owner benefitting from such adjustment shall be required to pay to the county an annual inspection fee in an amount determined by the director. For the purpose of protecting the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the county, the director may cause an inspection of any property within the benefited area. Such inspection shall be made upon reasonable notice to the owner or occupant of the property unless an emergency exists, as determined solely by the director.
