§ 2-13-14. Incident command system.

Manatee County shall utilize the Incident Command System (ICS) as delineated in emergency management planning documents to manage any actual or potential disaster situation. This system shall provide a consistent approach for all levels of government to effectively prepare for and respond to disaster impacts. Said system will address the principles of command and basic functions of planning, operations, logistics, finance and administration. ICS will be integrated into training and exercise offerings as appropriate.
