The county, in the event that any special assessments are levied against benefitted
properties, as provided herein, and pledged for any bonds issued hereunder, shall
diligently collect such special assessments to the full extent permitted by law, and
may take such actions including the institution and completion of proceedings to foreclose
the lien of such special assessments, after the same become delinquent, in the manner
provided by law.
