§ 2-17-42. Intent.

It is the intent of this article to provide for the execution of the policies which prevent and eliminate discriminatory housing practices contained in Title VIII of the Federal Civil Rights Act of 1968, as amended by the Fair Housing Amendments Act of 1988 (42 U.S.C. § 3601 et seq.), and Sections 760.20 through 760.37, Florida Statutes, the state Fair Housing Act. Additionally, it is the intent of this article to secure fair housing law in the county.
