§ 2-21-86. Definitions.
As used in this article, the below-listed terms shall have the following meanings:
Duly registered shall mean a person or entity which is properly registered with the Division of the State Fire Marshal, in accordance with Section 791.015, Florida Statutes.
Fireworks shall have the same meaning as that term is defined in Section 791.01, Florida Statutes; the term does not include blank cartridges for use in theatrical or sporting events.
Manufacturer, distributor, wholesaler and retailer shall have the same meaning as those terms are defined in Section 791.01, Florida Statutes.
NFPA Code and NFPA Standard shall mean the documents produced and published by the National Fire Protection Association of Quincy, Massachusetts, as now extant and as amended in the future.
Sparklers shall have the same meaning as that term is defined in Section 791.01, Florida Statutes, and shall include only those devices which have been approved by the division of the state fire marshal of the Florida Department of Financial Services, pursuant to Section 791.013, Florida Statutes, and listed on the current annual list produced by the division of the state fire marshal.
