§ 2-22-10. One-way traffic.

  • (a)

    Roadways designated. The following roadways are hereby designated for use by traffic moving in one direction only:

    1st Avenue 14th Street to 12th Street, in Palmetto (one-way southbound traffic only).
    14th Street 2nd Avenue West to 1st Avenue 12th Street, in Palmetto (one-way eastbound traffic only).
    18th Street East Between 33rd Avenue East and 32nd Avenue East (one-way northbound traffic only).
    17th Avenue West 18th Avenue West to 43rd Street West (one-way westbound traffic only).
    33rd Avenue East Between 17th Street East and 18th Street East (one-way eastbound traffic only).

    36th Avenue Drive West 116th Street Court West to 115th Street West (one-way eastbound traffic only).
    38th Avenue Drive West 115th Street West to 116th Street West (one-way westbound traffic only).
    115th Street Court West 36th Avenue West to 40th Avenue West (one-way southbound traffic only).
    116th Street West 38th Avenue West to 36th Avenue West (one-way northbound traffic only).
    116th Street Court West 36th Avenue West to 40th Avenue West (one-way southbound traffic only).
    Pelican Lane 38th Avenue West to 36th Avenue Drive West (one-way northbound traffic only).

     

    (b)

    Signs to be erected. The county traffic-control division shall erect appropriate "one-way" signs in conspicuous locations within the rights-of-way of all "one-way" roads.

    (c)

    Unlawful to travel in direction other than that designated. It shall be unlawful to operate any motor vehicle (as defined in F.S. § 316.003) on any road, street, or highway designated for travel in one direction only by this section, in any direction other than that so designated.

    (d)

    Violations; penalties. Any person determined to have violated the provisions of this section shall be deemed to have committed a moving traffic infraction and shall be penalized as provided by F.S. § 316.655 and F.S. Ch. 318.
