This article is enacted under the authority of Sections 125.01 and 316.550, Florida
Statutes, for the purpose of establishing regulations for the operation and movement
of oversized and overweight vehicles and loads upon or within county road rights-of-way,
and for the issuance of permits for such work, all in furtherance of the general health,
safety, and welfare of the citizens of Manatee County, Florida.
