§ 2-28-60. Authority to director to interpret; appeals.

The board hereby authorizes the director, to the extent consistent with general law,
to make all rules and regulations necessary for the interpretation, clarification
and administration of this article. Any interpretation by the director shall be in
writing and shall be promptly provided to the applicant/permittee. Any such interpretation
may be appealed by the applicant or permittee to the board for a final, binding decision.
The applicant/permittee's appeal shall be in writing and shall be submitted to the
director within ten (10) days of receipt of the director's decision. The board shall
act upon the appeal, in open session, within forty-five (45) days of the director's
receipt of the appeal.
