§ 2-29-128. Penalty for violation.

  • If an applicant under this article, who has been awarded a grant, is found to have made any willfully false and material statement in the application for the grant award, the applicant shall be permanently disqualified from receiving any such grant award in the future, and shall be prosecuted in the name of the State of Florida in a court having jurisdiction of misdemeanors and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00), or by imprisonment in the county jail not to exceed sixty (60) days, or by both fine and imprisonment.
