Pursuant to the act, the authority exercised pursuant to this article shall expire
on June 17, 2023, ten (10) years after the date the authority to grant exemptions
was approved by the qualified electors of the county in the June 18, 2013, referendum
(unless such authority is renewed for subsequent ten-year periods if each ten-year
renewal is approved in a referendum called and held pursuant to the act, in which
case the expiration of this article shall be extended for a like period). No business
shall be allowed to begin receiving such exemption after the expiration of this article;
however, the expiration shall not affect the operation of any exemption granted pursuant
to this article prior to its expiration.
