§ 2-2-232. Policy and intent.

The intent of this article is to provide a program of assistance to permanent residents of Manatee County who are living below or close to poverty level and who may be at risk of losing title to their homes as a result of neighborhood improvement programs or unable to pay fees required by the county for essential health and welfare programs, services, or projects. It is the policy of the board of county commissioners that this article be interpreted broadly in order to effectuate this intent.
