The provisions of this article are intended to regulate the transportation and landspreading
of domestic wastewater residuals, domestic septage, food establishment sludge, and
citrus processing wastewater residuals by adopting by reference Chapter 62-640, Florida
Administrative Code, Domestic Wastewater Residuals, rules of the Florida Department
of Environmental Protection (FDEP), and any subsequent revisions to or renumbering
of chapter divisions that does not result in a change of scope or content of this
article, and enacting certain more stringent requirements specifically tailored to
the soil conditions, hydrology, and land use patterns of Manatee County.
