§ 2-31-336. Covenants of the state.

  • The State of Florida hereby covenants with holders of any bonds or other obligations issue [issued] pursuant to this act [article], and the coupons appertaining thereto, that it will not in any manner limit or alter the power and obligation vested by this act [article] in the county to fix, establish and collect, in the manner provided in this act [article], such fees, rentals or other charges for the facilities and services of such utility system, and to revise the same from time to time whenever necessary, as will always be sufficient, together with any other pledged funds, to pay the expenses of operation, maintenance and repair of such utility system, the principal of and interest on all bonds or other obligations issued pursuant to this act [article] for such utility system, for the payment of which the revenues and special assessment of said utility system are pledged, and to comply fully with and fulfill the terms of all agreements and covenants made by the county with holders of such bonds or other obligations are fully paid and discharged, or adequate provision made for the payment or discharge thereof.
