§ 2-32-3. Purpose and findings.

(a)

The purpose of this article shall be to promote safe boating and other water-related activities in Manatee County to protect the public and the environment upon and adjacent to the waters of Manatee County.

(b)

Promoting public health, safety and welfare and protecting the environment from harm requires designation of areas of regulated water activity within the county where the operation of vessels may be regulated or prohibited.
