Article V. ESTABLISHMENT OF WATERCOURSE MAPS |
§ 2-32-14. Watercourse maps established.
The county hereby establishes the following watercourse maps, copies of which shall be maintained by the county administrator and kept on file with the clerk to the board of county commissioners:
(a)
Boating safety watercourse map. A watercourse map delineating and depicting the areas of regulated water activity established pursuant to sections 2-32-5 and 2-32-12 for purposes of boating safety, incorporated by reference into this section as Figure 1 and attached to Ord. No. 08-68;
(b)
Manatee protection watercourse map. A watercourse map delineating and depicting the areas of regulated water activity established pursuant to sections 2-32-8 and 2-32-12 for purposes of manatee protection, incorporated by reference into this section as Figure 2 and attached to Ord. No. 08-68; and
(c)
Consolidated watercourse map. The county shall maintain a watercourse map delineating and depicting the areas of regulated water activity established pursuant to sections 2-32-5 and 2-32-8, as well as areas of regulated water activity validly established by federal, state or municipal governments for boating safety and manatee protection, in a single consolidated watercourse map for ease of reference and public notice of all areas of regulated water activity in county waters, which shall be updated from time to time to reflect any significant changes to such federal, state or municipal regulations.
