§ 2-32-22. County optional vessel registration fee.

Beginning the first day of October 2006, any and all vessels required to register with the State of Florida that obtain such registration in Manatee County shall be required to pay an annual optional registration fee pursuant to the provisions of Florida Statutes Section 328.66. The Manatee County Tax Collector is directed to collect the optional vessel registration fee imposed pursuant this section, and to remit the proceeds of the fee to the state and to the county pursuant to Florida Statutes Section 328.66, as may be amended. The fee proceeds shall be expended by the county for the purposes authorized pursuant to Florida Statutes Section 328.66, as amended.
