Article I. IN GENERAL |
§ 2-6-1. Building code adopted.
(a)
A new building code for Manatee County, Florida, is hereby adopted, consisting of the 1997 edition of the Standard Building Code, including errata that may be published and all appendices except Appendix "B", "C", "F" and "I", copyrighted by the Southern Building Code Congress International, Inc., as amended in the manner provided in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein. The county is authorized to adopt permit and other related fees and charges by separate ordinance and resolution.
(b)
A copy of the aforesaid code and amendments thereto shall be kept with the clerk of the circuit court in Manatee County, Florida.

Editor's note— Section 15 of Ord. No. 01-69, adopted December 18, 2001, provided the following:
"All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance, including, but not limited to, Paragraph 30 of Appendix "A" to Ordinance No. 98-04, are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict."
