§ 2-6-25. Implementation.

(a)

Any person who, after the order of the building official or the decision of the board becomes final, fails or refuses to respond to the direction of such order, shall be prosecuted as provided by law, including, but not limited to, section 125.69, Florida Statutes.

(b)

The repair or demolition of an unsafe building or structure as required in the notice by the building official or the final decision by the board shall be performed in an expeditious and workmanlike manner in accordance with the requirements of this article, the Florida Building Code, all other applicable codes and accepted engineering practice standards.

(c)

No person shall obstruct or interfere with the implementation of any action required by the final notice of the building official or the final decision of the board. Any person found interfering with or obstructing such actions shall be prosecuted as provided by law, including, but not limited to, section 125.69, Florida Statutes.
