§ 2-6-75. Disciplinary action.

(a)

All contractors shall comply with all local licensing ordinances, as well as any requirements established by Chapter 489, Florida Statutes, and the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board.

(b)

Any person engaged in contracting shall be required to perform all work in conformity with all applicable laws, regulations, and codes.

(c)

Contractors issued certificates of competency by Manatee County may be disciplined in accordance with applicable state and local law.

(d)

Persons applying for permits under the property owner's exemption shall assume full responsibility for compliance with the Manatee County Building Codes relating to construction.
