§ 1-32-14. Administration and enforcement.

(a)

The provisions of this chapter shall be administered by the board of county commissioners of Manatee County. The enforcement of this chapter shall be provided by authorized agents of the county.

(b)

Violations of this chapter are punishable under the provisions of Chapter 162 and Section 125.69, Florida Statutes.

(c)

Enforcement actions taken by the director pursuant to Chapter 162, Florida Statutes, shall be appealable in the manner set forth in Section 305 of the Manatee County Land Development Code, unless the county establishes a separate environmental code enforcement process by ordinance. In that event, that process will control.

(d)

The board may, by resolution, establish fees for the implementation of this chapter. Such fees shall be used to defray the costs of the county's air quality program.
