Chapter 1-32. AIR POLLUTION CONTROL |
§ 1-32-4. Definitions.
(a)
Definitions contained in Rule 62-210.200, F.A.C., are hereby adopted and incorporated by reference and shall apply to this chapter.
(b)
The following specific definitions shall apply to this chapter:
Board shall mean the board of county commissioners of Manatee County, Florida.
Citation shall mean any official enforcement action taken by the director of the environmental management department.
Department shall mean the Manatee County Environmental Management Department.
Director shall mean the head of the Manatee County Environmental Management Department.
EPA shall mean the federal Environmental Protection Agency.
F.A.C. shall mean the Florida Administrative Code.
FDEP shall mean the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
F.S. shall mean the Florida Statutes.
Local enforcement agents or authorized agents of the county shall mean those persons designated by the director as having the required technical expertise and knowledge to conduct inspections and pursue enforcement to ensure compliance with this chapter.
MMBtu/hr shall mean a heat input rate of one million (1,000,000) British thermal units per hour.
Motor vehicle shall be as defined in Section 320.01, Florida Statutes.
Person shall mean any individual, corporation, governmental agency, business trust, estate, partnership, association, two (2) or more persons having a joint or common interest, or any other legal entity.
"PM10 shall mean particulate matter smaller than ten (10) microns in diameter.
