Maintain a government environment conducive to the efficient and effective provision of services to County citizens.

Policy 11.1.4.1. Continue to meet with the Fire Districts, Cities, Sheriffs Office, Florida Department of Health, American Red Cross, School Board, and other participating agencies through the Disaster Preparedness Planning Committee (DPPC) to ensure effective coordination during emergency situations.

Policy 11.1.4.2. Continue to cooperate with the local municipalities to develop and maintain a County-wide parks system that meets the needs of all County residents in accordance with appropriate interlocal agreements.

Policy 11.1.4.3. Continue to study opportunities for consolidation of government functions with adjacent municipalities and implement appropriate consolidations.
