Objective 5.7.8. - Historic Resources.

The Port shall protect, preserve, relocate, or sensitively reuse historic resources found within the Port consistent with applicable laws and regulations.
Implementation Mechanism:
(a)

Develop and maintain procedures for historic resources located during development activities at the Port.

(b)

Coordinate historic resources activities with the Florida Department of State.

Policy 5.7.8.1. The Port shall coordinate with the Florida Department of State Division of Historical Resources in the identification of historic and archaeological sites within the Port.

Policy 5.7.8.2. If a historical or archaeological site is identified during development, the Port will notify the appropriate agencies and will follow the regulations concerning the protection of those resources.
