Make progress toward improved service to provide for the needs of all citizens of Manatee County.

Policy 7.2.3.1. Continue to expand basic library service to the under-eighteen population in a cost-feasible manner.

Policy 7.2.3.2. Continue to develop and expand the provision of specialized information services and resources in a cost-feasible manner to enhance the work of both County government and the business community.

Policy 7.2.3.3. Continue to extend basic library services in a cost-feasible manner to a wider range of learning- and physically-disabled persons.

Policy 7.2.3.4. Continue to develop and improve coordination with the public and private schools, institutions of higher learning and other libraries.
