Objective 9.5.1. - Level of Service Standards.

  • Maintain the following level of service standards to minimize urban sprawl, maximize the use of existing facilities, plan capital improvements, and to review development applications.

    Policy 9.5.1.1. Adopt an infrastructure standard providing for an average daily flow of one hundred teen (110) gallons of potable water per capita per day of total population served to be distributed as follows:

    • Sixty-five (65) gpcpd for all residential users.

    • Thirty (30) gpcpd for all business, industrial and institutional users.

    • Fifteen (15) gpcpd for all miscellaneous and unaccounted uses.

    Policy 9.5.1.2. Maintain treatment capacity at the Lake Manatee Treatment Plant of at least eighty-four million (84,000,000) gallons per day to meet the demands of all wholesale and retail customers through 2035.
