Maintain consistency between this Comprehensive Plan and both the regional and state Comprehensive Plans.

Policy 11.1.8.1. Adopt and implement the policies of this chapter to ensure consistency with state and regional plans and amend, as appropriate, to maintain consistency.
Implementation Mechanism:
(a)

Maintain the Policy Implementation and Coordination Summary by the Planning Department.

Policy 11.1.8.2. Route all proposed Comprehensive Plan amendments to appropriate outside agencies and jurisdictions for review and comment.

Policy 11.1.8.3. Coordinate and share population projections with all local jurisdictions and governmental agencies and encourage all entities to share date to improve projections.
Implementation Mechanism:
(a)

Continue to review and analyze population projections as provided by the Bureau of Economic and Business Research (BEBR).
